I am sickened by the chain of events unfolding around the world. I wonder who the real terrorists are. I wonder what happened to brotherhood/sisterhood. Mere lip service paid to seal a momentary boost of the ego? When will peace reach our shores? How can it when walls are being built to prevent its arrival? Everyday, every hour, every moment an obstacle is being put in place to deter universal cohesion. As long as we don't realise that we are ultimately One family, we will never be one people, one peaceful world.
Recently there were debates that tolerance alone isn't enough. People must understand how different racial/ religious groups function, their beliefs etc etc. I agree. And I applaud all those who strive everyday to make the world a better place.
We all have a part to play. I know you understand.
